ADHD Diagnostic evaluation for Adults
AD(H)D has many faces. Signs such as inattention, impulsivity, forgetfulness, or emotional fluctuations can be expressions of AD(H)D. These symptoms are often accompanied by inner tension, self-doubt, and challenges in work or relationships.

How the ADHD Assessment Works
1. Free initial consultation & questionnaires
In a short introductory session, we will clarify your concerns. I will also let you know which documents may be helpful (e.g., school reports). You will then receive initial questionnaires, which form an important basis for the diagnostic process.
2. Diagnostic interview & biographical anamnesis
In a comprehensive psychotherapeutic interview, we explore your current symptoms as well as your biographical history, to understand the development of your symptoms from childhood onwards.
3. Additional questionnaires & neuropsychological testing
You will complete further questionnaires to assess possible accompanying psychological symptoms. In addition, you will take part in a neuropsychological test (online), focusing especially on attention performance, which is an essential part of a reliable ADHD assessment.
4. Evaluation, written report & feedback session
All results are carefully evaluated, and you will receive an individual written diagnostic report. In a detailed feedback session, I will go through the findings with you and provide clear treatment recommendations.
Fees
The costs for the AD(H)D assessment are initially covered by you.
Many private health insurance providers reimburse the costs fully or partially – depending on your individual contract conditions. We recommend contacting your insurance provider in advance to clarify reimbursement options.
Billing is carried out according to the German Fee Schedule for Psychological Psychotherapists (GOP). I am happy to provide more information about fees and procedures by email or during the initial consultation.
